Syphilis is a multisystemic chronic infection caused by Treponema pallidum. As with other sexually transmitted infections, syphilis's tendency to spread in the community is considered to be an indicator of the spread tendency of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. With the increase in the prevalence of HIV infection, there is a significant increase in syphilis cases. Neurosyphilis is a clinical form of the disease that can be observed at any stage leading to central nervous system involvement. Eye involvement in neurosyphilis often appears in the tertiary period and it might be the first and only finding of neurosyphilis. The most common ocular presentation is uveitis, and it may mimic many ocular pathologies. In this report, a case diagnosed with neurosyphilis while investigating the etiology of uveitis is presented.
