Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a rare cause of infective endocarditis. Mortality rate of infective endocarditis due to P. aeruginosa is high and is often associated with complications. In this report, we present a 37-year-old male who developed nosocomial left sided endocarditis due to P. aeruginosa after mitral and aortic valve replacement. A fatal course was observed following intracranial hematoma, splenic infarct and persistent bacteremia.
