Abstract
In this paper, two cases of intracranial abscess caused by P. micra were presented. First case was a 35-year-old pregnant woman admitted to the hospital with complaints of headache and fever and diagnosed as intracranial abscess. The second case was a 62-year-old male who was operated for intracranial mass 15 years ago and for intracranial abscess 4 years ago. He was presented with a new intracranial abscess episode. P. micra were isolated from abscess material in both cases. It should be kept in mind that this microorganism could be isolated from abscess material and culture of abscess material for anaerobes must be done as well.
